Six Months

Emma Kate had her six-month checkup yesterday. She had her shots and is growing wonderfully. She was 26 1/2 inches which was in the 75%, her head was 16 and 3/4 inches, 75% again, up from 25% since birth(how did that happen?), and 16 lbs 2 oz in weight which was 50%(same track since birth). She is sitting up wonderfully, putting EVERYTHING in her mouth, eating one jar of babyfood or a serving of rice cereal per day, cooing, laughing, and playing with toys. I can't express how much we all love this little girl. It really gets me going when Owen or Gavin begins laughing hysterically when she does something cute.

It has been so long.

It is now time to dip my feet slowly in the water. I really have been avoiding my blog because I got so behind and had no idea where to start and was really dreading a long drawn out post to play catch up. The time has come(I am already forgetting things that I haven't blogged about) to start back up again. There is no time like the present and this can be a resolution for me. :)
