It is college football season once more. Gavin's teacher is a major Clemson fan and we are Carolina fans which has been my family's alma matter for generations. Gavin came home last week talking about the cockroaches and the lions and about the upcoming ball games. We had a giggle at this because the mascots are the Carolina Gamecocks and the Clemson Tigers.
Gavin is kinda upset at us for being Gamecocks. How is a rooster better than a tiger? We were looking for Gamecock gear to show our spirit yesterday and picked up a cute romper for Owen and a golf shirt for Gavin. Gavin was none too happy about this Gamecockroaches gear and was desperate to have something with a lion claw(tiger paw) on it. Finally we found a necklace with burgandy and black beads and a pewter gamecock that Gavin fell in love with. He wanted some tiger paw tattoos that he wanted to place all over his chest. So, not only does he want to be a Tiger fan, he wants to be a drunk Tiger fan. Teehee
