This morning, Gavin was excited about his second day of school. Not Owen! Eddie took the morning off for his first day so he could be there and also so we could have some much needed Mommy/Daddy time. We got to school and dropped him off first. I was hoping that if he did get upset, that by the time we walked Gavin upstairs and came back down, Owen would be fine. WRONG!!! He started screaming as soon as we walked in. This is not a whimper cry either. It is all out screeching that is so high-pitched, people in the hallway thought it must be a little girl. We hung around for a little while, then told the director that we had the cell phone on and left. About fifteen minutes later, sure enough, my phone rang. He had not stopped at this point. We left him at 9:00. This was 9:30. So we headed toward the school. Once we got there, he was fine, so we turned around to go back home. 
We got to the school a little before noon to pick the boys up and guess what??? Owen was sitting there in the hallway with everyone else waiting for the parents. He smiled when he saw us and didn't even come to us right away. He kept sitting there with everyone else. I really do think he will be fine. We then picked up Gavin and headed out for pizza. It turned out to be a good day for the boys, but I sure was worried this morning.
