Can you believe, that as an adult, this was my first time carving a pumpkin? The template we used was a skill level of 2. I can't imagine what it would have looked like if we had tried the skill level 4 patterns. I can still smell that raw pumpkin smell in my nostrils. Ugh! See, I like pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread, even pumpkin candles. However, that raw pumpkin smell makes me want to hurl. It always has. Maybe, just maybe this is why I am just now getting around to carving a pumpkin.
