Okay, so I know that every parent thinks that his or her kid is the smartest out there. I am not kidding myself. Eddie and I are smart, but not Ivy League smart. So while I expect my children to go to college, I realize that they are not child prodigies.
However, listen to what Gavin said yesterday in the car..."Mommy, Daddy, Do you know that hamsters are nocturnal(he pronouced it correctly, that is what is sooo cool)? It means that they sleep during the day and are awake at night." We then had a discussion of all the other animals and insects we could think of that are nocturnal. I love it when my kids amaze me. :)
